My Hatikva Terms: The My Hatikva Project is sponsored by the Conference of Presidents (“COP”), a New York non-profit corporation with a principal business address at 633 Third Ave, New York, New York 10017. The purpose of the showcase is to celebrate the national anthem of Israel during the 60th year anniversary and to highlight personal reflections on Israel, Jewish community and the world. How do I participate? Enter the showcase by visiting (the “My Hatikva Web Site”) and submitting your name, e-mail address, phone number, and birthdate, as well as your submitted material. The content (“Content”) can be a two-minute video, an article or blog with pictures or pictures or drawings. Videos must be submitted in MOV or other AVI format and must be smaller than ten megabytes (10MB). We will not accept any improperly formatted videos and oversized videos. Are there any restrictions on the content? No content that shows nudity or that includes profanity (in any language) will be considered. COP reserves the right to reject any submission if, in COP's sole discretion, such submission is inconsistent with the nature, purpose and spirit of the showcase. By submitting content am I giving up any ownership rights? You will continue to own any video that you submit. But by submitting any entry, you are giving COP express permission to play the video or excerpts from it (which COP may select as it sees fit) and reproduce and display stills from the video on the My Hatikva Web Site, on the COP Web site at www.conferenceofpresidents.org and on any other Web site or in any other place, online or offline, where people can see and hear it. We also plan to put together a possible TV show, DVD and book that may use your content. By submitting content, am I making any promises to COP about its creation? Yes. You promise COP that you created this content yourself or, if you created it with other people, you have their permission to enter the content in this showcase; that the content does not include material that was created by another person or company without their permission; you have not included any interview of any person or any footage of any individual without his or her permission; and you have not included any private information about any individual i.e., information that reasonably could be expected to embarrass someone, or information that would defame a person, i.e. harm that person’s reputation. If anyone sues COP claiming that any of these representations is not true, you will be responsible. How will the showcase work? As each content submission is received, a panel of COP staffer will review it to ensure that it meets the subject-matter requirements and the other requirements described above in these rules. All Content that the panel deems to meet the requirements will be posted on the My Hatikva Web Site. . Is there anything else I should know before I enter? Yes. By participating in the My Hatikva showcase, you agree, on behalf of yourself and any heirs, successors, or assign that: • COP and its related organizations, assigns, subsidiaries or affiliates, advertising, promotion, fulfillment agencies, and suppliers will have no liability whatsoever, and you waive any claim you may have in the future against any of them, for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind, including loss of property, physical injury, or death, and property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from your entering this competition or from accepting, using or participating in any prize. • COP may use your name, and any photo or biographical information about you that appear in the video(s) that you submit, for publicity and promotional purposes.
